Job summary

American Equipment Holdings is seeking a Synthetics Fabricator to produce assemblies used worldwide in construction, energy, mining, crane operation, and aerospace sectors. The role focuses on accurately identifying diameters, constructions, and best applications for wire rope and chain assemblies, with hands-on training provided.

You will work closely with experienced staff to learn on-the-job skills, while ensuring safety, quality, and timely delivery of products.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in fabricating and distributing lifting and rigging equipment.
• Expertise in fabricating slings (nylon, polyester, wire rope) and related rigging gear.
• Strong understanding of materials used in lifting and rigging applications.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to lifting and rigging equipment.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble lifting and rigging products including slings, wire ropes, hoists, and hardware.
• Interpret engineering drawings and customer requirements for accurate fabrication.
• Inspect finished products for conformance to specs and quality standards.
• Operate and maintain fabricating equipment safely and effectively.
• Manage inventory of raw materials and finished goods to ensure availability.
• Review drawings, blueprints, and capacity tables to plan work.
