Responsibilities

• Operates general production equipment, including large and small punch presses, welders, and assembly equipment under supervision.
• Keeps work area clean and follows safety regulations and housekeeping practices.
• Produces quality parts meeting customer requirements and notifies supervisor if quality standards are not met.
• Performs setup functions as required and participates in process improvement teams.
• Follows operator instruction sheets and ensures proper use of standard packs for work orders.
• Completes paperwork such as tags, uptime reports, and production reports accurately.
• Trains new associates as directed by management and ensures proper last-piece sampling before starting the next order.
