Job summary

Midway Products Group, INC is seeking a Production Associate to operate general production equipment in a stamping plant under the supervision of the Team Leader and Area Manager. The role emphasizes training, safety, quality, and timely, efficient operation of equipment such as punches, welders, and assembly lines.

Preferred candidates have a High School / GED or equivalent and prior production experience.

Qualifications

• Training and experience: Prefer high school diploma or the equivalent.
• Experience as a production associate is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Keep work area clean and organized for safety.
• Produce quality parts meeting customer requirements.
• Perform all setup functions as required.
• Participate in process improvement teams.
• Follow operator instructions unless instructed otherwise.
• Adhere to safety regulations and report concerns.
• Report mis-hits to supervisor promptly.
• Notify team lead at halfway point for last piece inspection.
• Complete paperwork accurately (tags, uptime, setup lists).
• Ensure last piece samples are submitted before next order.
• Train new associates as directed by manager.
• Study SPC charts to identify process problems.
• Support FIFO use of raw materials.
