Nippon Paint Automotive Americas Inc. in Lansing, IL is seeking a Production Operator for the Small Paint Plant (SPP) on the 3rd shift. The role involves filling batches using the Automated Pail Filling Room, scales, mixers, and related equipment, with potential cross-training in other Operations areas.

Qualifications

• Must be flexible to train on 1st or 2nd shift.
• Experience operating production equipment preferred.
• Ability to follow SOPs and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs, batch tickets, process sheets, and safety policies.
• Operate filling equipment including automated pail filling systems, scales/load cells, mixers.
• Fill finished goods into proper containers with correct IDs and labels.
• Safely operate a forklift to move materials.
• Participate in improvement teams and contribute ideas.
• Utilize SAP, Microsoft Access, and Microsoft Office to complete orders in the LPP process.
• Maintain housekeeping standards within production areas.
