Job summary

Amcor LLC is seeking a production technician to maintain equipment in production-ready and safe conditions. The role covers label changes, minor servicing, and clear documentation while adhering to safety and quality standards.

You’ll troubleshoot equipment issues, perform basic servicing, and determine when escalation is needed. The position emphasizes 5S, housekeeping, and strict regulatory compliance across ISO/SQF requirements.

Qualifications

• Capable of physical mobility including sitting, bending, twisting, standing and lifting.
• Capable of lifting up to 35 lbs.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English.
• Ability to work in a fast paced and multi-task environment.
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrates organization skills and is very detail oriented.
• Possesses well–developed communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must possess some knowledge of mechanical principles, robotics, and other technical expertise.
• Computer experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains equipment in production ready and safe condition.
• Completes proper lock out tag out of equipment.
• Performs minor servicing tasks.
• Executes label production changes.
• Keep accurate records / paperwork according to established procedures.
• When problems arise above minor servicing, determines if actions can be taken immediately or appropriate personnel need to be called.
• Prevent nonconforming product from being shipped to customers.
• Maintains housekeeping and 5S.
• Accepts responsibility to comply with all safety, quality, customer, ISO, SQF and any other regulatory requirements. And has the authority to report concerns that could impact these requirements or suggest areas for improvement.
• Perform other duties as required.
