Job summary

Medline Industries, LP is seeking a production operator to safely operate, monitor and set up production and packaging equipment. You will work with a team to maintain high product quality and assist with line clearance and cleaning tasks.

Responsibilities include verifying inserts and packaging integrity, performing minor maintenance, weighing products, and communicating line status to packers. A high school diploma and basic math skills are required; English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be able to read and communicate in English.
• Basic math skills (addition/subtraction) are required.
• Ability to work well with others to achieve team objectives.
• Standing/walking up to 8 hours per day is required.
• Must have a high sense of urgency and the ability to handle repetitive hand movements.
• Lifting up to 50 lbs may be required.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and set up production and packaging equipment safely.
• Perform minor maintenance and repairs and involve maintenance as needed.
• Verify inserts, labels, and pouches for each lot and ensure quality.
• Weigh products before packaging and ensure packaging integrity.
• Communicate with packers on line status and new jobs; complete scrap reports.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and assist in line clearance and regular cleaning.
