Omya Group in California is seeking a Production Operator to operate designated production equipment, load intermediates or raw materials, and follow formula specifications to ensure quality products. You will read control instruments, record operations, and perform quality tests to verify final product standards.

The role requires a high school diploma, 5 years of manufacturing experience in a chemical setting, and the ability to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5 years of industrial/manufacturing experience in a chemical or related field.
• Experience in a maintenance role for manufacturing operations.
• Basic chemistry knowledge preferred.
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, overtime, weekends, and nights.

Responsabilidades

• Operate designated production equipment and load materials according to BOM/formula specifications.
• Read and interpret control instruments; maintain neat, accurate production records.
• Ensure product quality through required quality tests and process checks.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized work environment per QSHE guidelines.
• Prepare packaging for next production step or shipment; monitor equipment and process performance.
