Excel-Interior-Door-LL in Winston-Salem, NC seeks a Production Operator to safely control doors production using spreaders, CNC routers, wrappers and saws. The overnight shift runs Sun–Wed 8:00 PM–6:30 AM with possible Thursday overtime.

Candidate must read build codes, follow procedures, and maintain production logs. Lifting up to 50 pounds and working in a non-climate controlled environment are required.

Responsabilités

• Operates production machinery (spreaders, CNC routers, wrappers, saws) per standard work.
• Produces required quantity within specifications and tolerances.
• Measures finished parts with precision tools and ensures quality compliance.
• Maintains logs/records of units produced and any scrapped pieces.
• Inspects equipment before use and performs basic maintenance.
• Keeps work area clean, safe, and orderly.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Job Title: Production Operator

Band: 100

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Reports to: Lay-Up or Finish Manager

Department: Production

Job Summary:

The Production Operator will safely control various machines and equipment involved in the production of quality doors. Overnight shift works Sunday - Wednesday 8PM - 6:30AM. There may be occasional overtime on Thursdays.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• None.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Operates production machinery in accordance with standard work. Assigned machines may include spreaders, CNC routers, wrappers, saws and any additional equipment required for daily assigned.
• Produces the required quantity of units within established specifications and tolerances.
• Measures finished parts with precision tools, ensuring compliance with function, quality, and cosmetic specifications/tolerances.
• Maintains logs and records of units produced including a record of errors resulting in rejected or discarded pieces.
• Inspects equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and alignment; performs basic and routine adjustments and maintenance.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least one year of related experience required.
• Completion of on-the-job training may be substituted for educational requirements.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods working on feet, using tools, and performing repetitive actions that entail frequent bending, stooping, twisting, lifting, reaching, pushing and pulling.
• Must be able to lift-up to 50 pounds at a time.
• Visual acuity to read instructions, operate machines, and inspect parts produced.
