Job summary

Albaugh LLC is seeking an Assistant Formulation Operator to join our production team. The role involves operating equipment, maintaining processes, and ensuring safe, efficient production of crop protection products.

You’ll support safety programs and help manage materials from receipt to completion. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and manufacturing exposure, with a willingness to work overtime to maintain continuous operations and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Safely operates and controls equipment and instrumentation in the assigned manufacturing unit.
• Maintains and monitors process equipment according to procedures.
• Adheres to safety and housekeeping standards; protects health and environment.
• Receives and processes raw materials for finished products at required quality.
• Supports Responsible Care principles and health, safety and security of staff and community.
• Performs additional work as assigned by supervisor or manager.
• Assists in formulating agricultural chemicals, including fertilizers, herbicides, fungicides, and insecticides.

The Assistant Formulation Operator is the front-line employee who performs manufacturing processes that add value and quality to the final product. There are a variety of sub-classifications within the operator job family.

Reporting to the department supervisor, the Production Assistant will:

• Safely and effectively operates and controls equipment and instrumentation in the assigned manufacturing unit.
• Maintains and monitors process equipment in accordance with established procedures and processes.
• Maintains and improves safety in the unit and is responsible for housekeeping in operating areas.
• Receives and processes raw materials using chemical reactions and manufacturing operations to produce finished products at the specified quality level.
• Supports and adheres to the principles of Responsible care and applicable requirements by protecting the environment and assuring the health, safety, and security of our employees, vendors, customers, suppliers, and our community.
• Performs additional work as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
• Assists in the formulation of agricultural chemicals, including fertilizers, herbicides, fungicides, and insecticides.

The Qualifications
