Job summary

Albaugh, LLC in Kentucky is seeking an Assistant Formulation Operator to join our manufacturing team. This frontline role operates and controls equipment, processes raw materials, and ensures product quality while upholding safety and environmental standards.

Reporting to the department supervisor, you will maintain equipment, support continuous operation, and assist in formulating agricultural chemicals including fertilizers, herbicides, fungicides, and insecticides.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Willingness to work overtime to support a continuous operation as needed.
• Strong commitment to safety.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Manufacturing experience is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Safely and effectively operates and controls equipment and instrumentation in the assigned manufacturing unit.
• Maintains and monitors process equipment in accordance with established procedures and processes.
• Maintains and improves safety in the unit and is responsible for housekeeping in operating areas.
• Receives and processes raw materials using chemical reactions and manufacturing operations to produce finished products at the specified quality level.
• Supports and adheres to Responsible care and applicable requirements by protecting the environment and assuring health, safety, and security of employees, vendors, customers, suppliers, and community.
• Performs additional work as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
• Assists in the formulation of agricultural chemicals, including fertilizers, herbicides, fungicides, and insecticides.

Position Overview

The Assistant Formulation Operator is the front-line employee who performs manufacturing processes that add value and quality to the final product. There are a variety of sub-classifications within the operator job family.
