Job summary

Niagara Bottling is seeking a Production Operator – Nights to manage daily operations on the production floor. You’ll ensure safety, quality, and production goals while complying with GMP and food safety standards.

The role requires working a 12‑hour night shift on a rotating 2‑2‑3 schedule, with a starting pay of $22 per hour and opportunities to contribute to process improvements and quality control.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s Degree preferred.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Ability to work 12‑hour shifts on a rotating 2‑2‑3 schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Operate production line(s) and ensure safety, quality, and throughput targets.
  • Complete hourly quality and production reports.
  • Inspect products to prevent non‑conforming goods and report defects.
  • Adhere to safety programs and GMP/food safety standards.
  • Maintain housekeeping and monitor raw materials to minimize downtime.
  • Demonstrate ability to work across all production areas and perform relief duties.
  • Ensure regular attendance and reliability on shift rotations.

Job Overview

Production Operator – Nights at Niagara Bottling. Responsible for daily operations of the production floor, ensuring safety, quality, and production goals are met in compliance with all applicable legal and food safety requirements.

Schedule & Compensation

2‑2‑3 rotation on nights. Pay starts at $22/hr ($21/hr base + $1 night‑shift premium). Requires 12‑hour shifts, rotating schedule.

Essential Functions
  • Perform daily activities of the production line(s) and ensure products meet Niagara’s safety, quality, and throughput standards.
  • Complete applicable quality and production reports hourly.
  • Conduct physical and visual inspection of product to prevent non‑conforming goods and report all defects to the appropriate team members and shift leadership.
  • Adhere to the highest standards of company and plant safety programs, guidelines, rules, and regulations.
  • Abide by Niagara’s Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Food Safety Standards at all times.
  • Maintain general housekeeping in all production areas and additional areas assigned by plant leadership.
  • Maintain appropriate level of raw materials to ensure production lines incur minimal downtime.
  • Demonstrate the aptitude and skill to work in all assigned areas of production, troubleshoot minor line issues, and perform relief duties when required.
  • Ensure regular and predictable attendance is maintained.
  • Work 12‑hour shifts, day or night, on a rotating 2‑2‑3 schedule or as dictated by production demand.
