CoorsTek, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic II for weekend days (Fri/Sat/Sun, 6a-6p) at our Oak Ridge, TN facility. You will repair and maintain manufacturing machinery and building systems, work in a team, and keep areas clean and safe.

The role emphasizes diagnosis, preventative maintenance, and on-time execution. The position requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and about two years of manufacturing experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to diagnose and repair complex manufacturing or facility equipment, with or without schematics or manuals.
• Ability to perform internal and external facility maintenance (HVAC, painting, plumbing, welding, etc.).
• Experience with preventative maintenance on systems and equipment per a set schedule.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair equipment and communicate solutions to leadership.
• Perform facility maintenance including HVAC, painting, plumbing, and welding tasks.
• Carry out preventative maintenance by changing fluids, lubricants, or filters on a schedule.
• Troubleshoot equipment and recommend permanent solutions.
• Train and coach incoming mechanics on procedures and work instructions.
• Wear required PPE in designated areas.
