Job summary

CoorsTek in Hillsboro, OR is seeking a Production Operator III - Lapping Beams, Swing shift. You will operate production equipment for technical ceramics and metals, inspect parts, transfer outputs via computer systems, and assist with loading, unloading, and transport of product.

The role requires a HS diploma (or equivalent) and at least 1 year of manufacturing experience; PPE and teamwork are essential in a diverse environment. A swing shift with a $2.50 differential applies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not necessary.
• Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read/interpret standard and metric measurements.
• Understand and follow verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate multiple production equipment to manufacture parts per work orders.
• Inspect parts to ensure they meet customer specifications and take corrective action.
• Transfer parts to next process via computer software.
• Load, unload and stack product; transport with hand-truck, forklift, crane or hoist.
• Train incoming operators on processes and procedures.
• Wear required PPE at all times in mandatory areas.
