Job summary

CoorsTek in East Granby, CT is seeking a Production Operator II on the swing shift to operate multiple basic production machines and ensure parts meet specifications. You will follow work orders, inspect parts, and transfer products through processes using computer software, while maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, basic math, and reading measurements, with training on days for 4–6 weeks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 6 months manufacturing experience.
• Understand and act on verbal and/or written instructions.
• Read/interpret standard and metric measurements.
• Ability to use handheld measuring equipment and maintain accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machines to manufacture parts per work orders.
• Inspect parts for quality before routing to next process.
• Transfer parts via computer software.
• Load, unload and stack product; transport units.
• Maintain clean work area and assist in training.
