Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in a paint manufacturing facility preferred.
• English speaking required.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and follow safety instructions and safety guidelines.
• Ability to pass forklift test and obtain forklift certification.
• Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
• Ability to read and apply accurate labels.
• Ability to weigh and measure materials accurately.

Responsibilities

• Weighs/measures all materials used in the process for yield and accuracy of completed batches.
• Coordinates sample testing with QC and makes necessary hits/changes to batch as instructed by QC.
• Raw materials are added in the arranged order on the batch ticket.
• Must maintain housekeeping standards in the work area.
• May move to other tasks such as fill off and tank washing when trained.
