Job summary

AkzoNobel in Clearwater, FL is seeking a Production Operator III - Batch Making to execute assigned production tasks per procedures, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency in every batch.

You will work with batch tickets, weigh materials, coordinate with QC for sample testing, maintain housekeeping, and be prepared to shift to filling and tank washing as trained; forklift operation and safety compliance are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Prior experience in a paint/manufacturing facility preferred.
• Ability to read, comprehend and follow safety instructions.
• Ability to operate a forklift and obtain forklift certification.

Responsibilities

• Execute batch making per batch ticket.
• Weigh and measure all materials for yield and accuracy of batches.
• Coordinate sample testing with QC and implement changes as instructed by QC.
• Maintain expected housekeeping standards in the work area.
• When trained, move to fill off and tank washing tasks.
