Job summary

Airgas is hiring a Production Operator III for the Sacramento, CA plant specializing in acetylene production and filling. The role involves safely handling and filling gas products into liquid, medical and high-pressure gas cylinders in compliance with regulations and Airgas SOPs.

Starting pay is $23.50 per hour with a monthly bonus up to $500 and a comprehensive benefits package. Required forklift certification, CGMP knowledge, and at least 1 year of related manufacturing experience are

Qualifications

• Forklift Certification required or preferred.
• CGMP knowledge or experience in manufacturing operations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor gas filling processes for industrial gases and cylinders.
• Inspect cylinders and perform safety checks per regulations and SOPs.
• Handle high-pressure, medical and liquid cylinders and prepare them for filling.
• Load and unload cylinders, operate forklift and other warehouse equipment.
• Maintain accurate DOT, FDA, OSHA paperwork and quality control records.
• Read cylinder labels, ensure proper identification and color coding, and label containers correctly.
• Follow all safety and company standards for hazardous materials handling.
