The incumbent will work under established procedures, follow safety rules, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs while performing varied duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical/vocational training preferred.
• Ability to follow written instructions and safety protocols.
• Ability to assess machinery performance and adjust operations to meet specifications.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate tools according to instructions, specifications, and charts.
• Study work orders and specifications to ensure proper setup sequence.
• Select, place, and secure tools, supplies, and equipment.
• Observe tasks to verify quality performance and measure using gauges and calipers.
• Set and adjust controls to regulate machines; monitor instrument readings.
• Maintain a clean, safe manufacturing area and prepare tools for use.
• May be trained to operate forklift or other powered equipment.
• Report issues to supervisor and follow directions; work extended hours if required.
