Alkegen is seeking a Production Operator I for its South Hill, VA facility. Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate tools according to instructions, specifications, and charts.
  • Study work orders and specifications to ensure proper setup sequence.
  • Select, place, and secure tools, supplies, and equipment.
  • Observe tasks to verify quality performance and measure using gauges and calipers.
  • Set and adjust controls to regulate machines; monitor instrument readings.
  • Maintain a clean, safe manufacturing area and prepare tools for use.
  • May be trained to operate forklift or other powered equipment.
  • Report issues to supervisor and follow directions; work extended hours if required.
