Job summary

Alkegen is seeking a manufacturing associate to oversee the finishing productivity and quality of products on assigned equipment. You will perform setup tasks, document production data, and maintain a clean, safe work area in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include training new employees, supporting maintenance, and performing preventive maintenance as scheduled. 12-hour shifts and overtime may be required, with strict adherence to safety rules.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Minimum of 1+ years manufacturing desired.
• Attention to detail; good math and reading skills.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly.
• Must be available to work 12-hour shifts and OT as needed.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the finishing productivity and quality of all products manufactured on his/her equipment.
• Product Operation Set-Ups must be performed as instructed through Operation Set-Up Sheets, Plant Work Orders, and Quality Plans.
• Responsible for the documentation of all production and quality data as instructed.
• Organize and clean work area daily to ensure work area is efficient and safe.
• Clean equipment as instructed by Supervisor, including product change overs, daily cleaning, and projects by Supervision.
• Train new employees.
• Assist Maintenance Staff in repair and troubleshooting of equipment.
• PM as scheduled and document as instructed.
• Observe all Safety Rules and regulations and advise Supervision of any safety issues.
• Perform all other duties as directed by Supervision.
• Must adhere to all company and location policies and safety rules.
• All other duties as assigned.
