Job summary

Alkegen seeks a production operator for our Ohio facility. This role involves setting up and operating tools, following work orders, and monitoring quality while keeping machinery clean and prepared for use.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, basic computer skills, and the ability to multi-task and cross-train. Prior manufacturing experience is preferred; job training is provided. This position may require extended hours and working in a hot environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operates tools according to instructions, specifications, and standard charts.
• Follow work orders, and other specifications to ensure proper setup sequence is followed.
• Selects, places, and secures tools, supplies, and equipment.
• Observes tasks to verify quality performance, conducts routine quality checks to ensure products meet specifications.
• Verifies instruments are in proper working order.
• Sets and adjusts equipment to regulate machines to maintain speed, output, and quality standards.
• Cleans equipment, maintains an area free from debris, and readies or puts away tools on machinery.
• Closely follow directions to operate machinery and tools.
• Reports issues to Production Leads or Supervisor.
• Performs other duties as required or assigned.
• Must adhere to all company policies and safety rules.
• Must be able to work extended hours when required.
