Job summary

Flowers Foods, Inc. in Knoxville, TN is seeking a Production Operator I to contribute to a team-oriented production process. You will operate automated equipment, assist in maintenance, and help ensure product safety, quality, and efficiency.

The role emphasizes data input that supports production and financial systems, and requires teamwork in a fast-paced bakery environment. The position requires mastering Enterprise software for data entry, reporting, and compliance with GMPs and safety

Qualifications

• Two years or more of related experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent plus completion of a technical certification course (e.g., HVAC, auto maintenance/repair).
• Equivalent military training or other related technical training may substitute for formal training.

Responsibilities

• Check and adhere to production work schedule and reporting times.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety procedures (EEO, Harassment, Safety, Sarbanes-Oxley).
• Maintain cleanliness of work area at all times while on duty.
• May operate facility metal detector(s) after training and certification.
• Comply with safety rules and GMPs.
