Job summary

Sun Chemical in Philadelphia, PA, United States, seeks an Operator I for Combo to operate production equipment across manufacturing areas and fill in for other plant roles as needed.

Under limited supervision, you will read batch tickets, assist lab with samples, perform routine quality checks, and help maintain safety and cleanliness while supporting continuous production and team projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in a production/manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of safety principles and practices.
• Sound verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review batch tickets; read, understand and follow procedures.
• Provide samples to lab and record results.
• Operate and troubleshoot mixing equipment.
• Label containers and manage labeling accuracy.
• Perform preliminary quality checks and participate in safety initiatives.
• Train others and participate in team production activities.
