TE Connectivity Corporation in Manheim, PA is hiring for a Production Operator I on the 4th shift (Friday–Sunday, 6 am–6 pm). The role includes operating CNC machinery, quality checks, and documentation, with a 22% shift premium. US citizens or residents only, high school diploma or GED required.

Candidates should be able to work safely in a climate-controlled production area, read blueprints, and collaborate with team members to meet production targets.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and follow blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other instructions.
• Work with team to troubleshoot operations and flow issues.
• Perform quality checks and document defects.
• Meet documented standards for quality and productivity.
• Keep records of production quantities and time.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area.

Shift and Schedule

This position will be working 4th shift which works Friday through Sunday6 am – 6 pm.

Individuals working 4th shift receive 22% shift premium on top of their hourly rate.

Job Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Applies basic job skills to operate CNC machining equipment and perform various secondary tasks such as tumbling, reworking, and cleaning
• Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately operate CNC machining equipment.
• Work with team to trouble shoot operations and/or flow issues
• Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards, and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified
• Meet documented and communicated standards for quality and productivity
• Keep records of production quantities and time
• Work safely with small hand tools and measuring equipment
• Maintain a safe and clean work area by complying with procedures, rules and regulations

Qualifications:

• Due to ITAR restrictions, US Citizenship or US Lawful Permanent Residency is required for this position
• Use independent judgement and basic problem-solving skills to accomplish tasks
• Follow both written and verbal instructions, with a high attention to detail
• Flexibility to work overtime to meet company demands
• Ability to work in a team environment
• High School Diploma or GED
• Relevant work experience

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift 40 lbs.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time

COMPENSATION

• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $19.00 - $24.00 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
