Job summary

Alcon is seeking an Operator I, Production (Para-Professional & Support Path) to join its manufacturing team in Houston. You will set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot production equipment while ensuring products meet specifications and quality standards.

You will follow SOPs, maintain production records, review work orders, and contribute to continuous improvement while adhering to GxP regulations. This role requires a High School Diploma and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Fluent reading, writing, and communication in English.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot production equipment.
• Ensure products meet specifications, schedules, volume/cost/wastage targets, and quality standards.
• Move, pack, and sort raw materials or finished goods.
• Monitor output quality and discard or re-manufacture faulty products.
• Maintain accurate daily production records for performance analysis.
• Review work orders, schedule resources, and monitor operations for alignment with business objectives.
• Adhere to GxP regulations by following SOPs, maintaining documentation, and ensuring quality control.
• Complete required training and contribute to organizational compliance.
• Commit to continuous improvement and regulatory compliance.
