Job summary

Alcon is seeking an Operator I, Production (Para-Professional & Support Path) to perform manual and operational tasks in a high‑volume manufacturing setting. You will set up, operate, and troubleshoot production equipment while ensuring adherence to specifications, schedules, budgets, and quality standards.

The role emphasizes following SOPs, maintaining records, and contributing to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Handle manual or operational tasks to ensure smooth and efficient processes.
• Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot production equipment.
• Ensure products meet specifications, schedules, volume/cost/wastage targets, and quality standards.
• Move, pack, and sort raw materials or finished goods.
• Monitor output quality to identify, discard, or re-manufacture faulty products.
• Maintain accurate daily production records for performance analysis.
• Review work orders, schedule resources, and monitor operations for alignment with business objectives.
• Adhere to SOPs and GMP-like regulations, maintain documentation, and ensure quality control.
• Complete required training and contribute to organizational compliance.
• Commit to continuous improvement and regulatory compliance.
