This position bonds all panels on the day’s daily production schedule. They are responsible for the daily cleaning and maintenance of the glue line. They work with both Laminate and Core Staging to report and replace any laminate or core that is damaged during the process. Performs other tasks as required.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Receives all material from the manufacturing facilities and vendorsChecks and places materials in the correct binChecks material against the manifest and reports discrepanciesInforms supervisor and photographs all defective materialsCut down over-sized laminate and core to fill pending ordersReads, interprets, processes, and packs ordersAssists with other warehouse duties based on business needAssists the needs of the customerKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIESAbility to learn materials inventoriedAbility to learn packing techniquesAbility to learn proper material handling techniquesAbility to understand and follow directionsAbility to work independentlyAbility to drive a lift truckAbility to read and understand customer ordersAbility to learn to operate a panel sawAbility to trim excess laminate off of panels on an as needed basisEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEHigh School Graduate or GEDEXPERIENCE1+ years work historyPHYSICAL DEMANDSPerforming tasks with team members which includes lifting, pushing, pulling up to 50lbsContinuous physical exertion such as walking and standing throughout the day is also required.ENVIRONMENTLocated in an environment with regular exposure to fumes or odors, temperature extremes, or loud noises which cause noticeable discomfort or moderate risk of accident or illness.
