Job summary

MKB Company in Poseyville, IN is seeking a Production Laborer to operate manufacturing equipment and help produce high-quality stormwater erosion control products. You will work on a team to ensure safety, accuracy, and timely production in a fast-paced environment.

The role offers day and night shifts with a $1/hour night differential. A strong focus on safety, reliability, and teamwork is required, with prior heavy equipment experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1-3 years' experience with heavy equipment preferred.
• Willingness to learn and grow within the role.
• Prior experience with hand tools, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform production tasks while maintaining quality standards.
• Assist Production Lead in meeting daily production goals.
• Set production line balance and speed.
• Load and unload parts into manufacturing equipment; parts can be large and awkward.
• Perform pre-shift and end-of-shift equipment checks.
• Keep facilities and equipment clean and maintained.
• Abide by all safety rules, PPE requirements.
• Attend safety briefings and team meetings as required.
• Accurately complete all required paperwork.
• Regular, punctual attendance; may work nights and weekends.
