Job summary

MKB Company is seeking a Production Laborer in Poseyville, IN to manufacture stormwater erosion control products. The role involves operating machinery and equipment to produce high-quality items, with emphasis on safety, efficiency, and teamwork.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of heavy equipment experience, hand tools proficiency, and a willingness to learn and grow within the role. Night shifts include a $1/hour differential; days and nights available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1-3 years' experience of heavy equipment preferred.
• Willingness to learn and grow within the role.
• Prior experience with hand tools, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform all production tasks while maintaining quality standards.
• Assist Production Lead in meeting or exceeding daily production goals.
• Set production line balance and speed
• Loading and unloading parts into manufacturing equipment. Parts are not extremely heavy but are big and awkwardly shaped
• Perform pre-shift and end of shift checks and maintenance on equipment
• Keep facilities and equipment clean and maintained
• Abide by all yard rules, safety regulations, and PPE requirements
• Participate in safety briefings and meetings as required by Manager
• Pass on information from team members, management, or customers.
• Accurately complete all required paperwork
• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance is required. May need to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and additional hours as necessary
• Other duties may be assigned
