Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical/vocational training preferred.
• On-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates tools according to instructions, specifications, and standard charts.
• Studies work orders to ensure proper setup sequence.
• Selects, places, and secures tools, supplies, and equipment.
• Observes each task to verify quality performance.
• Verifies measuring instruments are in proper working order.
• Sets and adjusts controls to regulate machines.
• Cleans equipment and maintains a clean manufacturing area.
• Operates machinery and loads/unloads items as assigned.
• May be trained to act as forklift operator or other powered equipment handler.
• Reports issues to supervisor or higher-level staff.
• Adheres to safety rules and site policies.
• Willing to work extended hours when required.
