UFP Industries, Inc. in Georgia is looking for a Machine Operator I to set up and run production equipment in line with standard procedures. You will ensure materials are ready, load and feed the machine, and monitor performance to maintain output and quality.

This entry-level role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and teamwork in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will complete pre-shift checks, maintain clean work areas, and contribute to continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of experience in manufacturing and/or assembling.
• Working knowledge of basic math is preferred.
• High school diploma/GED preferred but not required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsabilités

• Sets up and operates a production machine according to procedures.
• Feeds the machine safely and efficiently following guidelines.
• Stacks finished products and handles labeling/banding when required.
• Keeps work area clean, organized, and equipment safe to operate.
• Completes pre-shift startup inspections and reports issues.
• Maintains production records as required.
• Inspects materials and finished products for quality.
• Participates in safety and CI programs and meetings.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
