Job summary

Zekelman Industries, including Sharon Tube in the Niles area, is seeking a Production Worker to help keep our steel production lines running safely and efficiently. You should be mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and prepared for a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will operate machinery, move materials, follow safety procedures, and assist with shipment preparation while supporting production goals and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in industrial or manufacturing settings preferred.
• Ability to understand basic machine functions and safety procedures.
• Willingness to work varying hours, overtime, and pass screenings.

Responsibilities

• Operate hand and power equipment to support safe, efficient production.
• Run production machinery to maintain smooth line operations and output.
• Handle and move raw materials to designated areas to keep production running.
• Follow all safety procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
• Operate forklift and other material handling equipment as needed.
• Use packing and banding equipment to prepare products for shipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support production goals.
