Job summary

Sharon Tube, a division of Zekelman Industries, seeks a Production Worker in Niles, OH to support the production line with safe, efficient operation. The role requires mechanical aptitude and a hands-on approach in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

You will run machinery, move materials, and follow safety procedures, with opportunities to operate forklifts and packing equipment while contributing to overall production goals.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of industrial or manufacturing experience.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to work with and understand basic machine functions.
• Ability to pass job-related physical, background check, and drug screening requirements.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Commitment to health and safety practices per regulatory and company standards.

About the Role

As a Production Worker at Sharon Tube, a division of Zekelman Industries, in Niles, OH, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient operation of the production line while maintaining safety and quality standards.

This role is ideal for someone who is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Do

• Operate hand and power equipment to support safe, efficient production.

Who You Are

• 1+ years of industrial or manufacturing experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to work with and understand basic machine functions.
• Strong attention to detail, dependability, and focus on quality.
• Ability to work shift schedules and varying hours as required.
• Willingness to work overtime when needed to meet production demands.
• Ability to pass job-related physical, background check, and drug screening requirements.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Commitment to leading and promoting health and safety practices in accordance with regulatory and company standards.

Physical Abilities

• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to walk or stand for at least 80% of the shift.
