Job summary

CMC is seeking production associates to join our steel fabrication and construction reinforcement teams. You could be involved in operating cranes and manufacturing equipment, or performing hands-on tasks in an industrial setting.

Training and advancement opportunities are available to help you grow within the company. You will work outdoors in various weather conditions, cross-train on multiple machines, and participate in safety programs to maintain a secure work environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions.
• Able to cross-train as required.
• Follow OSHA, EPA, and company safety policies.
• Must lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Read and interpret technical documents and service manuals.
• Experience in heavy industrial environment preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Attend training regarding applicable equipment
• Perform additional duties as needed
• Assist in loading fabricated rebar on trailers and unloading stock material from trailers
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition
• Operate production machines in accordance with established procedures and guidelines
• Participates in the CMC Safety Programs and proactively upholds the CMC Safety Culture
• Crosstrain on multiple machines
• Operate rebar fabrication equipment, such as shears, benders, cranes, forklift, threaders, forging, welders, etc.
