Job summary

CMC in Spanish Fork, Utah is looking for individuals to operate production machines and learn about the steel and construction industries. Successful candidates will participate in safety programs and have opportunities for cross-training on various machinery.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machines in accordance with established procedures and guidelines
• Participate in the CMC Safety Programs and proactively uphold the CMC Safety Culture
• Cross‑train on multiple machines
• Operate a forklift to move material and supplies as required

Qualifications

• Ability to follow OSHA, EPA, and all company safety policies, rules, and regulations
• Ability to operate fabrication machines in a safe manner without supervision
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds, climb ladders and steps, work outside under all weather conditions when needed
• Excellent communication skills, in both written and verbal form are necessary to be successful in this role
• Minimum 1 year working with heavy industrial environment experience preferred but not required
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time, stretch, bend and use hands and fingers in repetitive motions

Education and Experience
