Job summary

Adecco is hiring a Production Associate for a manufacturing facility in Portsmouth, VA. This contract-to-hire role offers hands-on work in a fast-paced production environment with opportunities for growth.

Pay is $18.00 per hour with weekly pay and benefits; schedule is Tuesday-Friday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Candidates should have manufacturing experience and a strong safety mindset.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of manufacturing, production, or industrial equipment experience.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate production and manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and operational checks.
• Monitor equipment performance and report maintenance concerns.
• Follow quality control standards and safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Support production operations and complete assigned tasks as needed.
