Job summary

AMP is seeking a Production Operator for its Portsmouth, Virginia on-site facility. You will perform equipment inspections, operate and monitor machinery, and ensure proper cleaning and storage at shift end.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 2 years of equipment operation experience, and English literacy. Overtime may be required; schedule is Tue-Fri 7AM-7PM, with $18.00-$24.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years experience operating similar equipment.
• Able to read, write and speak English.
• Understand and follow company safety procedures.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Regular and predictable on-site attendance.
• Overtime and call-in work may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre and post-operative equipment inspections identifying repairs needed.
• Safely operate all equipment.
• Complete service and/or inspections of equipment.
• Monitor equipment to ensure proper operation and minimize downtime.
• Follow quality control protocols and report deviations.
• Adhere to all company, regulatory, and safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
