Job summary

Butterball Farms, Inc. is seeking a Production Operator to join our Grand Rapids area facility. You will set up and operate production lines, troubleshoot equipment, and help maintain quality and safety throughout shifts.

You will monitor product weights, follow standard work instructions, and support a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment with strict GMP guidance and PPE requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Good eye-hand coordination.
• Ability to read and understand standard work instructions.
• Ability to work at a consistent, fast pace for extended periods.
• Flexibility to adjust work schedule to accommodate high work volumes.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, troubleshoot, and resolve machine issues per production specs.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks using appropriate tools.
• Monitor weights and product consistency within specified ranges.
• Maintain logs and track inventory used in production.
• Follow GMPs and PPE requirements and ensure safety.
