Job summary

Butterball Farms, Inc. in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Production Operator to join our manufacturing team. You will set up and operate butter production lines, troubleshoot issues, and ensure product quality meets specifications.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and comfortable working at a fast pace with attention to detail. This is a full-time, on-site role with safety and GMP compliance at the core of daily tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in food manufacturing is a plus.
• Ability to follow standard work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, troubleshoot, and resolve machine issues per specs.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks using appropriate tools.
• Collaborate with Maintenance and adjust line parameters as needed.
• Monitor weights and product consistency within specified ranges.
• Record downtime and material usage in production software.
• Adhere to GMPs, safety procedures, and PPE requirements.
