Butterball Farms, Inc. is seeking a Team Lead to supervise production teams in a fast-paced plant environment in Grand Rapids, MI. You will coordinate daily operations, mentor staff, and partner with HR on staffing while ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of supervisory experience, strong coaching and communication skills, and proficiency with MS Office and production systems. Growth opportunities and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Bilingual ability preferred, but not required.
• Proven coaching and development skills with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Train, mentor, supervise, and develop production team members.
• Coordinate daily operations including startups, shutdowns, and changeovers.
• Oversee line activities, work assignments, rotations, and scheduling.
• Partner with HR to support staffing, including interviewing and selecting candidates.
• Conduct annual performance evaluations for direct reports.
• Ensure quality control standards are maintained.
• Lead waste and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Enforce GMPs and safety practices; manage PPE usage.
