Job summary

USG is seeking a Warehouse/Shipping associate in Bridgeport, AL. The role focuses on safe forklift operation, accurate order pulling, and timely shipment of materials from the production line to trucks/railcars.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, data entry, recording shipping data, and basic equipment maintenance. The position requires adaptability to shift work, overtime, and weekend hours with a strong emphasis on teamwork and safety.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Role & Responsibilities

• Adhere to all safety/housekeeping requirements within a plant warehouse setting.
• Use of forklift in the timely loading or unloading of finished product and raw materials to/from trucks/railcars, and from the production line.
• Interpret customer orders so as to pull, stage, load, and check materials in a manner that ensures accurate and timely shipment.
• Recording of shipping data and other results in the manner required.
• Troubleshoot and apply basic maintenance skills to help service equipment.
• Expected to take an active role in all plant safety and continuous improvement initiatives as required by supervision.
• Adaptable to scheduling requirements including shiftwork, assignment of overtime, working weekends, etc. where applicable.

Hourly pay: $22.38

Rate of pay may be adjusted based on the qualifications and experience of the candidate.
