Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking a production operator to operate and monitor food-manufacturing equipment in a GMP-compliant environment. You will load materials, set up labeling and packaging lines, and ensure accurate lot and date codes while maintaining safety and cleanliness.

The role requires following daily schedules, communicating issues to the lead person, and supporting multiple production tasks as needed in a clean, organized facility.

Qualifications

• Experience following GMPs in a food manufacturing environment.
• Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.

Responsibilities

• Receive daily production schedule and materials from lead person.
• Load caps into capping machine hopper and set up printers and labeling equipment.
• Start, monitor, and adjust machines to control speed, tightness, and operation; report malfunctions.
• Load labels and ensure correct lot numbers and manufacturing dates.
• Set up packaging and labeling lines, including shrink wrap and cartons; verify product weights.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and follow GMPs and safety policies.
• Notify supervisor of safety, quality, or downtime issues and assist in procedure improvements.
