Job summary

Grover Precision in Oxford, Maine, is seeking a Production Support team member to help keep manufacturing operations running smoothly. This entry-level role requires no prior manufacturing experience, and on-the-job training is provided.

You will work first shift, Monday through Friday, with starts between 5:00 AM and 7:00 AM, and you will be paid $18 to $22 per hour. Grover offers a family-friendly environment and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

Ability to read and understand manufacturing instructions and work orders.
Basic math skills.
Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment.
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the workday.
Dependable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
Previous manufacturing experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

Support production operations as directed by supervisors and managers.
Cut, face, straighten, drill, polish, and bore-blast materials as needed.
Handle materials and assist with inventory movement throughout the facility.
Follow work orders, standard operating procedures, and quality requirements.
Track production time using the company kiosk clocking system.
Monitor work and report quality concerns or material issues promptly.
Coordinate with production, quality, and operations teams to keep jobs moving efficiently.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
