Job summary

The Pittsburgh Paints Company is hiring a Production Operator – Filler in Louisville, KY, with a pay of $22.99 per hour. As a Production Operator, you will manufacture and package quality paints and stains while following safety rules and procedures.

Your role includes operating filling and packaging equipment and performing quality checks on materials. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S. A sign-on bonus of $1000 is available after 90 days of service.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Lift up to 50 pounds routinely and 80 pounds infrequently.
• Stand for extended periods of time and maneuver around equipment.

Shift: 1st shift 6:00 AM-4:45 PM

As a Production Operator - Filler, you will be part of a team that works together to manufacture and package quality paints, stains and other materials. This work is completed in our production plants utilizing automated filling equipment. We need self-driven employees that understand collaboration and efficiency. Every day you will have an opportunity to contribute and succeed.

Key Responsibilities

• Following all safety rules, processes and procedures.
• Setting up, monitoring and operating filling and packaging equipment.
• Improving production line efficiency through teamwork.
• Performing routine quality checks on material before and during line operation.
• Maintaining accurate records and a clean, orderly work area.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Lift up to 50 pounds routinely and up to 80 pounds infrequently.
• Follow detailed instructions and record progress.
• Stand for extended periods of time, maneuvering around equipment.
• Work in a team environment and take ownership over assigned area of responsibility.
