GE Appliances, a Haier company, in Decatur, AL is seeking a Production Operator to join our fast-growing team. You will operate on the line, perform repetitive assembly tasks, use a wide range of hand tools, and ensure products meet approved specifications on multiple models moving along the line.

Qualifications

• Be 18 years of age or older.
• Be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Be able to understand verbal and written instructions in English.
• Must be willing to work overtime with advance notice.
• Pass a background check, drug screening, and health questionnaire.
• Ability to perform essential functions with/without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Operate on the line interacting and cooperating with other team members to complete tasks on different models of the same product moving along the line.
• Perform repetitive line assembly operations to assemble product quickly to approved specifications.
• Utilize a wide range of powered-hand tools to assemble, check, adjust or repair appliances.
• Complete daily 5S requirements.
• The factory is not climate controlled - conditions may be hot or cold.
