Job summary

C&B Piping, Inc. in Gilbert, AZ is seeking a Machine Operator to support production across multiple processes, ensuring safety and quality. The role emphasizes reading tape measures, operating heavy equipment, and adhering to OSHA standards to maintain efficient manufacturing flows.

The operator will perform quality checks, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with teams to maintain clean, organized work areas while meeting daily production targets in a fast-paced plant environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in a heavy machinery environment is a plus.
• Ability to read a tape measure, documentation, and be attentive to details.
• STRONG safety awareness for yourself and others, no exceptions.
• Ability to safely operate forklifts and/or heavy equipment - Certification is a plus.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Distribution, fabrication, manufacturing, and/or construction experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate and support production processes along with following all standardized work equipment.
• Perform quality checks and inspection as needed.
• Problem solving, continuous improvement, learning to recognize malfunctions before they malfunction!
• Reading a tape measure accurately.
• Proper PPE, equipment and product handling, comply with all company policies, and with all OSHA Safety regulations.
• Good housekeeping and perform 5S activities.
• Perform other assigned duties as deemed necessary or appropriate.
