This full-time, hourly position requires lifting up to 50 pounds, strong communication, and the ability to work overtime as needed. Training on SAP CMS MWS and HACCP checks is involved, with emphasis on lot traceability.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain ancillary equipment and perform adjustments as needed.
  • Set up and break down equipment; document all work for traceability.
  • Use SAP, CMS, and MWS transactions for blending.
  • Comply with GMP, OSHA, food safety and internal safety guidelines.

This is a full-time, hourly position.

Job Summary

The Production Operator in our Dry Blends area safely and successfully performs the essential job functions consistent with qualitative and quantitative productivity standards. This position currently has opening on the 2nd shift.

Job Responsibilities
  • Commit to ADM’s goal of achieving a zero injury culture; understand and follow company safety procedures
  • Retrieve set-up pallet and deliver to batching rooms
  • Ensure that all ingredients are present and in the correct quantities
  • Operate blenders per SOP’s or management guidance/instructions
  • Responsible for ancillary equipment within a manufacturing environment (sieves, batching systems, etc.)
  • Set up and break down the equipment and make necessary adjustments
  • Use SAP, CMS, and MWS transactions needed for blending
  • Accurately document all work to ensure lot traceability, HACCP checks, etc.
  • Work in compliance with all GMP, OSHA, food safety, and internal safety guidelines
  • Other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Strong communication skills
  • Exhibit regular and timely attendance
  • Willing to work overtime and weekends, as needed
  • Initiative to work independently but be flexible enough to work in a team setting when needed
  • Attention to detail in regard to lot numbers, order numbers, etc.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly
  • Experience driving a forklift and working in a manufacturing environment

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift fifty (50) pounds continuously throughout an 8-hour shift

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.

If hired, employees will be in an at-will position and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

The Pay For This Position Is Expected To Be

$23.00/hr
