Job summary

ADM Nutrition seeks a hands-on, exempt leader to guide daily manufacturing operations, develop production staff, and uphold safety, quality, and regulatory standards. The role evolves with production targets, equipment maintenance, and data-driven decision making across shifts.

The successful candidate will drive productivity, manage reports, and lead continuous improvement initiatives within a dynamic food/a gri-business environment.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required.
  • Associates or Bachelor Degree preferred (Manufacturing technology, Engineering, Industrial management, or related discipline) or equivalent experience
  • Data-driven problem solving using Six Sigma, 5 Why, Root Cause Analysis
  • OSHA safety training and safety compliance
  • Experience leading production in a complex manufacturing environment with multi-team coordination and shift leadership

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership for all manufacturing processes to meet schedules.
  • Train, mentor, develop, and evaluate production colleagues on policies and performance.
  • Monitor safety, quality and regulatory guidelines (USDA, Kosher, GMP, HACCP).
  • Track productivity and implement efficiency improvements; reduce costs.
  • Prepare and present reports to management; lead daily pre-shift meetings.
  • Utilize ERP, MRP, and data-tracking software; coordinate resources.
  • Investigate root causes; implement corrective actions for quality/yield deviations.
  • Collaborate on continuous improvement and teamwork initiatives.

Position Summary

Leads daily manufacturing operations and workflows, manage and develop production colleagues, ensure highest level of safety and quality, maintain equipment, meets output targets, and monitor data trends through reports.

This is a full time, exempt position

Job Responsibilities
  • Provides technical leadership for all manufacturing processes to meet schedules
  • Train, mentor, develop, and evaluate production colleagues on policies and performance.
  • Monitor and ensure all shift activities are conducted under company safety, quality and regulatory (USDA, Kosher, GMP, HACCP, etc.) guidelines
  • Track productivity, implement efficiency improvements, and reduce costs.
  • Prepare and present reports to management.
  • Conduct pre shift meetings and communicate goals and priorities.
  • Daily usage of computer programs including Microsoft office suite, ERP, MRP, Data tracking software.
  • Ability to quickly prioritize resources, activities, equipment, and schedule to ensure highest productivity level to achieve highest level of customer satisfaction.
  • Strong ownership and communication of daily follow through for solutions to daily manufacturing issues, impact to customer orders, inventory accuracy, etc.
  • Investigates root causes and sets corrective action plans for all quality, yield and other departmental deviations.
  • Collaborate and develop continuous improvement and teamwork initiatives.

ADM requires the successful completion of a background check.

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.

If hired, employees will be in an \u201Cat-will position\u201D and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

The pay range for this position is expected to be between:

$58,100.00 - $108,000.00
