Job summary

CPS Inc. is seeking Compounding Production Operators in Burlington, WI. This full-time role involves setting up and running packaging lines, weighing and mixing ingredients, and monitoring batches for quality and safety.

Production Operator, Compounding Burlington, WI | All Shifts Available $20.00/hour | Full-Time (possible shift premium available)

Our client is looking for Compounding Production Operators to join their Burlington, WI manufacturing team. This hands-on role is responsible for safely and efficiently producing and packaging chemical products while maintaining high standards for quality, safety, and cleanliness.

What You’ll Do

• Set up, operate, and monitor production and packaging equipment.
• Measure, weigh, mix, and process chemical ingredients according to established procedures.
• Monitor batches for quality and food safety parameters.
• Record production, sanitation, and testing data accurately.
• Draw product samples for quality testing.
• Fill containers with finished chemical products.
• Clean and sanitize equipment, utensils, and work areas.
• Report food safety, physical safety, and product quality concerns.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production environment.
• Safely operate production equipment including forklifts, agitators, homogenizers, and drum tippers.

What We’re Looking For

• High school-level proficiency in reading and mathematics.
• Two or more years of chemical or food processing experience preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• GMP and HACCP training is a plus.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Ability to work effectively with colleagues across departments.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to repetitively lift up to 60 pounds.
• Ability to stand, bend, and reach for extended periods.
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders.
• Ability to wear required PPE for extended periods.
• Ability to safely operate production machinery.
