CPS Inc. in Wisconsin is seeking a Production Operator for a split day shift (10:00 AM – 6:30 PM) at a specialty manufacturer. This role offers growth opportunities and stability.

Responsibilities include setting up and operating equipment, measuring, weighing, and processing chemical ingredients, monitoring batches for quality and safety, recording data, drawing samples, and maintaining a clean, safe work area. Benefits include M/D/V as noted.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years in chemical or food processing preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• GMP training a plus.
• HACCP training a plus.
• Measuring, weighing, mixing, and processing ingredients.
• Record production, sanitation, and test data.
• Safely operate production machinery, including forklifts, agitators, homogenizers, and drum tippers.

Responsibilities

Production Operator – Split Days Specialty manufacturer is seeking a production operator for split day shift (10AM-6:30PM). This is an excellent opportunity with opportunities to grow and stability!

Duties:

• Set up, operate, and monitor equipment used for producing and packaging products.
• Measure, weigh, mix, and process chemical ingredients following established procedures to create finished products.
• Monitor batches for quality and food safety parameters, including Critical Control Points and Control Points.
• Record production, sanitation, and test data accurately and legibly.
• Draw samples of products for quality tests.
• Fill containers with chemical products for sale or internal use.
• Clean and sanitize equipment, utensils, and work areas according to company procedures.
• Promptly report all food safety, physical safety, and product quality issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Salary $17.00 - 18.00 / hour

Technical Qualifications:

• Proficient in reading and mathematics at the high school graduate level
• Minimum of two years of chemical or food processing experience preferred
• Forklift certification preferred
• GMP training is a plus
• HACCP training is a plus
• Experience measuring, weighing, mixing, and processing ingredients
• Ability to operate and monitor production and packaging equipment
• Ability to draw product samples for quality testing
• Ability to accurately record production, sanitation, and test data
• Ability to safely operate production machinery, including forklifts, agitators, homogenizers, and drum tippers
• Ability to perform visual and olfactory observations
